Home to over 16 million people—can you imagine? Coming from Estonia, that number still blows my mind. Istanbul is a true metropolis where East meets West—literally. Spanning both Europe and Asia, the city is known for its rich history, stunning architecture, and vibrant street life. And the cats! They’re everywhere, and the locals genuinely care for them. It’s one of the many things that makes this city feel so alive and welcoming. Oh—and don’t leave without trying the stuffed mussels. Trust me.
