Oman
Where do I even begin? This time, I traveled with my entire family—my partner, kids, mum, everyone. We spent Christmas in Oman and, not surprisingly, saw very few other tourists. Honestly, I’ve never felt safer in a foreign country. The hospitality? On another level. Locals welcomed us into their homes, offered us tea, food, and showed us around with genuine warmth. At one point, my kids asked, “Papa, why is everyone here so friendly?” Deserts under clear skies, watched camel races, and even visited Bedouins in the desert. The food was fantastic. And the mangoes—so many mangoes. You see where this is going? Oman is a must-visit for anyone curious about the Middle East and Arab world. I could go on and on, but I’ll let the photos do the talking.
